How Long Does It Take To Make Hard Cider?

How Long Does It Take To Make Hard Cider?

There are two schools of thought as to how long it takes to make hard cider. One is the winemaking style and one is the beer making style. The beer making style is a little faster and can be made in two to three weeks.

The winemaking style is more like wine and can take six months to a year to make. The beer making style makes a crisper, fresher style of cider and is a little less complex than the winemaking style, but more enjoyable for a lot of people.

The winemaking style can result in some more complicated and interesting flavors and appeals more to people who enjoy wine.

Our ciders are made in more of a beer making style in order to appeal to seasoned and novice cider drinkers alike! Visit our tasting room to learn more and taste our ciders for yourself!
