Read about whats going on with Applewood Winery.

I'm excited about the 2010 NY Riesling Experience because Riesling is the most interesting, nuanced and thought provoking grape in the world.

Just look at a few of the terms I found on the internet to describe the flavor of Rieslings: Pineapple  chalkiness, honey, fresh, bright, acidic, crisp, solid, golden, peach,  clove, white pepper, subtle,  grapefruit, pear, apple, clean, citrus, apricot, fruit driven, Jasmine, Honey Suckle, Spearmint, Wet Stone,  flint, Mineral, Cucumber, Dill, African Violet, Gooseberry, Lime, Petroleum, Peach, Lavender, Bay Leaf.

How can so many terms describe one grape!  That's why Riesling is the most controversial and interesting grape in the world.

Come visit the The NY Riesling Experience May 1st & 2nd 2010 at Applewood Winery in Warwick NY

Michelle McCrea: ...
smilies/smiley.gifI had the pleasure of going to the NY Resling
Experience today and it was absolutely wonderful!!
I have been going to Applewood for about 30 years
now and I am hooked. I first started coming as a
young child and now I bring my children. We bring
picnic baskets and tablecloths and make every visit
a family event. I look for reasons to keep coming
back. I would like the goat cheese tart receipe,
it was out of this world!!! Thank you very much
APPLE DAVE!!!
